This will my very first post, obviously. The idea here is that I would create an online journal for two reasons. I really wanted to say two-fold because that sounds more spiritual, but when something has two folds doesn't it make four sections? I know, confusing huh? Anyway, the two reasons.
1. I wanted to have a way for others to know how and what we're doing without sending them unsolicited e-mails and letters. This also allows others to respond and interact with us as well as pray for us. I highly suggest that you leave comments. It is a blessing to hear from you.
2. An online journal is just that a journal. I always think journaling (Is that really a word?) is good, I'm just so bad at it. I once started a journal and was doing pretty good at writing in it until I came home and found that our dog Lucy had eaten it. Discouraging to say the least. So, not only will this journal not get eaten, but because others are reading it, I'll feel a little obligated to actually write in it. Not obligated like legalistic, but obligated like responsible (Thought I'd clarify so that I'd save myself the rebuke).
Anyway, that's the jist of it all. I won't be making this Blog public until 06', so we'll see where we're at by then.
